Tura Building Centre
Tura Building Centre was setup by MUDA through GOI grant from HUDCO in 1994 with the sanctioned amount of Rs. 2.00 lakhs. This centre is located in the Urban Affairs complex at Dakopgre.The Building Centre has fully utilised the grant amount. Subsequently, the center took up the project for Model Slum at Matchakolgre at Tura under Kfw grant from HUDCO. For this project, the centre received an amount of Rs. 17.50 lakhs out of the sanctioned amount of Rs. 35.00 lakhs. Project worth Rs.17.50 lakhs have been completed and the utilisation certificate has also been submitted to Hudco. Release of the next instalment is awaited. In all the works taken up under this project, low cost and alternate building materials produced by the center, was utilised.
