National Slum Development Programme (NSDP)
List of Schemes
An amount of Rs. 99.57 lakhs was sanctioned by the Government for implementation of the Schemes of NSDP in Meghalaya for the different Municipal Boards. On receiving the proposal from the Boards for various construction and repair works, the Government through the Directorate of Urban Affairs approved the Schemes out of which an amount is allotted as per the estimates and fund is released to the Municipal Boards for execution of the work at the community level and neighbourhood group. Engagement of Contractor is not what so ever permissible and the implementation of the Schemes is based on the guidelines of NSDP.
