Implementing Agency

The Municipal Boards in Shillong, Tura, Jowai, Williamnagar, Baghmara and Resubelpara are the implementing agency for the Schemes of Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY). An amount of Rs. 594.55 lakhs was released to the different Municipal Boards as on 30.6.2005 where as the total Utilisation Certificate received is Rs. 489.84 lakhs out of the total expenditure reported by the Municipal Boards for an amount of Rs. 529.57 lakhs.
